Having researched bought and trained to work with the various technically sound equipment for carrying out quality tests, we have managed to assure delivery of top-end products to the clients. Some of the machines at our plant, that carry out quality checks are:

Universal Testing Machine (UTM):

  • Process: Measures tensile strength, yield strength, and elongation.
  • Use: Confirms mechanical performance under load, essential for structural and high-stress applications.

Hardness Testing Machine (Brinell / Rockwell / Vickers):

  • Process: Checks hardness level of the bar surface.
  • Use: Ensures proper heat treatment (like quenching & tempering) has been applied.
  • Type Used: Usually Rockwell C Scale for 4140 / EN19 grade.

Spectrometer / Optical Emission Spectrometer (OES):

  • Process: Purpose: Performs chemical composition analysis.
  • Use: Non-destructive method used for quality assurance in forged or hot-rolled bars.

Ultrasonic Testing (UT) Equipment:

  • Process: Detects internal defects, inclusions, cracks, or voids.
  • Use: Confirms mechanical performance under load, essential for structural and high-stress applications.

Microscope (Metallurgical Microscope):

  • Process: Analyzes microstructure.
  • Use: Confirms proper heat treatment and grain refinement during processing.

Straightness & Dimensional Measuring Tools:

  • Process: Vernier calipers, micrometers, straightness gauges, and profile projectors.
  • Use: Ensures tight dimensional tolerances and bar straightness.
